Meet Boston
Boston is an almost 9-year-old Bull Arab cross who is looking for a loving family to offer him the safe and comfortable retirement home he deserves. While he's entering his senior years, Boston still has plenty of spark left and enjoys his daily walks, gentle play and quality time with his favourite people.
Boston is a friendly, affectionate boy who forms strong bonds with those he trusts. He's happiest when he's close to his humans, soaking up attention and enjoying their company. He's looking for a home where he can be included in everyday family life and enjoy a relaxed but active lifestyle.
Boston is not looking to make new dog friends and prefers to keep his distance from unfamiliar dogs. He would be happiest as the only dog in the home, where he can enjoy his space without the pressure of sharing it with other pets. His new family must be understanding and accommodating of his needs, recognising that busy dog environments, dog parks and close encounters with unfamiliar dogs are not for him. Boston will thrive with owners who respect his boundaries and are happy to plan walks and outings where he can feel comfortable and safe.
Boston's new family will also need to be physically capable of managing his size, as his lead manners could use some improvement. Patience, consistency, and responsible handling will be important to help him enjoy his daily walks.
Boston would suit a household with children aged 12 years and over who can respect his boundaries and understand the importance of interacting appropriately with a large dog.
