This handsome **Border Collie x Cattle Dog mix** is full of personality and absolutely loves to have fun. He’s playful, affectionate and always up for some attention — especially if it comes in the form of plenty of **scratches and cuddles!**
Dozer is a **smart, handler-focused boy** who is eager to learn and responds well to his people. While he hasn’t had the opportunity to learn his basic training yet, we think he would absolutely **relish the chance to go to dog school** and discover just how much fun learning can be. With his intelligence and willingness to engage with his handler, he has all the ingredients to become a fantastic companion for someone who enjoys training and spending time with their dog.
Dozer has previously lived with **children over 10 years old**, but because he can be quite bouncy and energetic, we think older children would be the best fit for him.
He is **not suitable to live with cats**. Dozer also hasn’t lived with another dog and has had limited social experiences with other dogs, so for now, we’re looking for a home where he can be the **only dog** and where his family can focus on helping him build his confidence and skills.
Dozer is looking for an active family with a **large, secure yard** and, most importantly, people who have the **time and enthusiasm to give him training, enrichment and plenty of attention**.
In return, you’ll get a goofy, affectionate and incredibly fun companion who will happily keep you entertained — and probably keep you laughing too!
